International Advertising and Marketing Communication Conference (IAIMCC)

Dear KACA members,


We’d like to remind you of the International Advertising and Marketing Communication Conference (IAIMCC) which will be held at the Disney Paradise Pier Hotel in Anaheim, California: February 2-4, 2012.


Paper Deadline: All submissions, complete papers or extended abstracts, are due on or before December 15th.  Submissions should be made by e-mail to the chair of the IAIMCC 2012, kjupak@fullerton.edu.  See the Call-for-Paper attached for more information.


The IAIMCC 2012 Benefits: This conference offers unique opportunities for interacting with advertising scholars and industry professionals from around the world. There are many benefits of the IAIMCC 2012. To name just a few,
(1) Some ‘full-length’ papers accepted for presentation will receive $200 awards.  (2) A refereed journal (Journal of Advertising and Promotion, published by the Korean Advertising Society) will publish the papers accepted and presented at the conference in its 2012 summer issue.  These papers will be selected via a second round of blind reviews.

Notification of Acceptance: Authors of accepted papers will be notified via email on or before December 22nd.  At least one author of each accepted paper must register and attend the conference to present the paper. To register for the conference, one may send a check to be paid to Maxwell Center at CSUF, but online registration is strongly encouraged. Conference registration fee is $395, which covers the admission to the conference, programs and materials, meals (two breakfasts, two lunches, and a dinner) and the admission to a reception. A $100 discount will apply to those who register before January 5th and the registration deadline is January 15th. Conference participants should make their room reservations with Disney by no later than January 3rd to take advantage of the special rate negotiated for the conference ($144 plus tax per night for a double room).
Further details on conference registration, hotel accommodation and airport transportation will be sent along with the notification of the paper acceptance.
Other Details
: Authors of accepted abstracts must submit complete papers (not exceeding 30 pages) to Dr. Kuen-Hee Ju-Pak, chair of the IAIMCC by no later than January 15th.
